A 10-layer 1-level HDI PCB is a high-density interconnect printed circuit board. It uses a 1+8+1 стек. The board has an 8-layer core. Each side receives one build-up layer. Laser-drilled microvias connect the outer layers to the inner layers.

Laminate selection basis: ФР4 Тг170 is a high-Tg epoxy glass laminate. It meets IPC-4101C requirements. Его температура стеклования (Тг) is at least 170°C. 3. Design Points and Working Principle
3.1 How HDI Microvia Technology Works
Microvia technology forms the core of HDI дизайн печатной платы. A laser drills a small blind via into each build-up layer. That microvia connects only the target layers. It does not pass through the whole board. Laser depth control stops the via at the target copper layer.
IPC-2226A limits microvia aspect ratio to 1:1. А 0.10 mm via can therefore be no deeper than 0.10 мм. This limit keeps laser drilling and via filling within a reliable process window.
3.2 Stackup Design and Signal Integrity
The 1+8+1 stackup uses a symmetric design. Symmetry helps prevent bow and twist during lamination. It also balances thermal expansion across the board. 3.3 Blind Via Filling and Reliability
